By Editorial teamListing data refreshed List prices, no promo codes

Pakistan is on the restricted list of 39 of the 90 firms we track, one of the highest counts among the countries we cover.

Most of these firms take Crypto, Credit/Debit Card and Google Pay for challenge fees. 1 firm takes a method specific to Pakistan for the fee (JazzCash).

Method: We keep every firm open to Pakistan and rank them on a Pakistan score, which swaps the usual access component for a check of deposit and withdrawal methods that work for Pakistani traders. No firm with an open warning makes the picks. We quote official list prices with no promo codes and add any fee you pay after passing.

Firm popularity: Monthly Google searches for the firm's name across all countries, from Ahrefs keyword data (sub-brands carry their parent company's number). It shows the firm is known and in real use rather than a fly-by-night, but tells you nothing about its rules or payouts.

Paying and withdrawing from Pakistan: local methods

FirmPay withWithdraw toLowest price
V Prop TraderJazzCash$12.99

Not offered or not permitted in Pakistan, so left out of the payment counts on this page: Apple Pay (support.apple.com) and PayPal (developer.paypal.com).

Only methods specific to Pakistan count here (JazzCash, Easypaisa and Raast). Global methods such as cards, crypto, e-wallets and international wires are left out of this table.

Prices on this page are in US dollars (a few firms price in euros). We hold no reliable PKR rate, so we do not convert them; your bank or card provider will apply its own rate.

Firms closed to traders in Pakistan

Finding a prop firm that will actually take a Pakistani trader

Only 51 of the 90 prop firms we track accept traders from Pakistan. FundingPips still leads our Pakistani ranking at 4.3/5. 50 of the accepting firms take crypto for the fee, which makes payment the easier half of the problem and access the harder one.

Why the list is shorter here

Pakistan turns up on more restriction lists than most countries in our data. 39 of the 90 firms we follow refuse Pakistani residents, and the better-known names among them are Topstep, Lucid Trading and Apex Trader Funding. In practice a large part of the market is closed before you compare a single rule, so check first that a firm will sell to you, verify you and pay you.

Our data is a snapshot, and firms edit their country lists. Before you pay, open the firm's own terms and find the restricted-country section. If Pakistan is listed there, or the wording is vague, move on.

The market split tilts the choice further. Among accepting firms, 41 offer forex, 7 offer futures and 11 offer crypto, and a firm can appear in more than one group. For most Pakistani traders, forex is therefore the lane with real choice, while futures traders will be picking from a much narrower menu and should read every term twice.

The session on a Pakistani clock

Pakistan does not change its clocks, so the shifts come from Europe and the United States. London opens around 12:00 PKT during the European summer and 13:00 in winter. The New York stock open follows at about 18:30 or 19:30 PKT. That places the most active hours of the forex day in your afternoon and early evening, the stretch when both London and New York are trading at once.

For someone holding down a day job, this is a workable rhythm: you can plan the evaluation around the evening overlap rather than trading through the night. It also means your daily loss limit may reset at an awkward moment. Limits reset once a day on the firm's server clock, not yours, so convert that time into PKT before you open your first position.

Paying, pricing and getting paid

Once you have a firm that accepts you, the payment side is comparatively smooth. 50 of the accepting firms take crypto, 47 take cards and 27 take e-wallets, while 1 firm takes JazzCash for the fee. When you reach the checkout, the method that clears on the checkout page is the one that matters, not the logos in the footer.

We quote prices in dollars. The median one-time price of a forex challenge, pass fees included, is $99 for a $10K account, $349 for $50K and $569 for $100K. The cheapest ticket we list is FundedHive at $9. A useful habit is to divide every price by the account size and compare the cost per $10K, because a larger account is not automatically better value. Also check whether the firm charges an activation fee after you pass; 7% of forex challenges do.

Then look at the far end of the process, the first payout. Of the accepting firms, 47 can send your profit in crypto, 29 use Rise and 28 transfer to a bank account, while 25 pay out weekly or more often. The strongest shortlist is made of firms that accept you, take a method you can use, and pay back through a method you can use.

Rules to read before you trade

A challenge is a simulated evaluation. You are not buying market access; you are paying to demonstrate that you can follow a set of risk rules for long enough to earn a funded account. The details below matter more than the headline profit target:

  • Drawdown model. 44 accepting firms offer a static drawdown that stays fixed to your starting balance. A trailing drawdown moves up with your equity, so a strong first week can leave you with less room than you started with.
  • Daily loss limit. 9% of forex challenges run without one; everywhere else it resets each day and punishes a single careless session.
  • Consistency rules. Some firms cap how much of your total profit can come from one day, which matters if you trade rarely but big.
  • Strategy permissions. 42 firms allow expert advisors and 46 allow trading through news releases.

Platforms are led by MT5 (37 firms), Match Trader (21 firms) and cTrader (19 firms); filter for the one you already know. If you would rather skip the evaluation, 36 firms offer instant funding, which comes with its own terms that need a separate read.

Payouts are taxed according to Pakistani rules and your personal situation, and we are not tax advisers, so take proper advice before money starts arriving.

Where does that leave you? Begin with the three firms that head our Pakistani ranking (FundingPips, FundedNext and The5ers) and put each one through the same three questions: will it take a trader from Pakistan, can you pay it the way you intend to, and can it pay you back the way you need? The one that answers yes to all three, with rules that fit your trading, beats the cheapest.

Regulators and tax in Pakistan

Here is what regulators and the tax office in Pakistan have published. Most of it targets brokers: a prop firm challenge is a paid evaluation, not a trading account with a broker.

Regulators
Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), State Bank of Pakistan (SBP)
Retail forex and CFDs
SECP says trading in listed securities and commodities can only be carried out through SECP-licensed brokers. On April 9, 2025 it warned that offshore platform Quotex, offering forex and other speculative trading, is not authorised in Pakistan. Sources: secp.gov.pk, secp.gov.pk (2)
Prop firm challenges
We found no rule or warning from SECP and SBP written specifically about prop firm challenges.
Tax
No official FBR guidance on how prop firm payouts are treated was found. Source: fbr.gov.pk
