⚠ Regulator alert

In Malaysia, the SC Investor Alert List (2024) names Vebson, the company that runs V Prop Trader (listed as Vebson, vebson.com). Source: sc.com.my/regulation/enforcement/investor-alerts/sc-inves…

V Prop Trader stays in our ranking, marked ⚠ on that country page. If you trade from Malaysia, read our Malaysia page before you pay.

⚠ Red flags on record

  • Trustpilot hides the rating over a guidelines breach and notes it removed fake reviews. 27,946 reviews are listed (checked 2026-09-29)
  • The Securities Commission Malaysia Investor Alert List (2024) names 'Vebson' (vebson.com) for unlicensed capital market activities of dealing in securities. Vebson Ltd. is the entity in V Prop Trader's site footer. V Prop Trader itself has no entry. The MAS Investor Alert List has no entry for 'vprop' or 'vebson'
  • In the app stores, publisher PUREPLAY STUDIOS LLC (Wyoming) calls the app simulated trading with 'educational' rewards and no real-money withdrawals. That clashes with the paid profit-split model on the website
  • Some rule texts disagree. The FAQ allows hedging while the T&C ban it. Climber limits and sizes in the T&C also differ from the pricing cards

Recorded from public sources on October 5, 2026. They are reported facts, not a legal ruling. While a warning stays open, the firm is kept off our beginner and most-established lists.

  • Four programs. 2-Step asks for 10% then 5%, with 5% daily and 10% max loss. 1-Step asks for 10%, with 4% / 6%. Instant funded has no target and 3% / 5% limits. Climber is a pay-per-stage 2-step. Warm-Up needs 5% with 20% / 40% limits and Step-Up needs 5% with 5% / 10%. Funded runs at 4% / 6%.
  • Loss limits are fixed percentages of the initial balance, and floating P/L counts. The daily limit resets at midnight platform time (GMT+2 / CE(S)T).
  • Minimum trading days: 4 per phase on 1-Step and 2-Step, 2 (Warm-Up) + 4 (Step-Up) on Climber, and 7 on Instant. Evaluations have no time limit.
  • Funded accounts come as V Basic with 1:100 leverage or V Pro with 1:30. Funded Pro accounts allow news trading and overnight or weekend holds. Funded Basic accounts cannot open or close trades within 2 minutes of high-impact news. They also cannot hold overnight or over weekends, crypto excepted. Instant accounts have a 10-minute news blackout and no weekend holding.
  • During evaluations you may trade the news and hold over weekends.
  • Crypto trades without leverage. Funded lot caps: $5K 1 lot, $10K 2, $25K 5, $50K 10, $100K 20, $200K 40.
  • Banned: gap trading, HFT, server spamming, latency or reverse arbitrage, tick scalping and toxic flow. Opposite-account trading, copy trading and third-party account management are banned too. The program T&C also ban hedging, yet the FAQ allows it inside one account and bans it across accounts.
  • EAs work on 1-Step and 2-Step. On Instant and Climber they are allowed only for trade or risk management.
  • Instant extras: each trade may float at most 1% in loss, and a 15% consistency score applies. The first 3% of profit stays as a buffer. You need at least 7 profitable days (>=0.25%) in each 30-day cycle.
  • A breached challenge can be reset for a fee, but funded accounts cannot be reset. KYC is required before funding.
  • The firm monitors IP activity. Odd location changes may trigger checks such as travel documents or a live video. Running several free accounts on one device can get withdrawals rejected.

  • You can first request a payout 14 days after your first trade on the funded account, then every 14 days. The FAQ instead counts 14 calendar days from receiving the account.
  • Split: 95% on Instant, 80% on 1-Step, 2-Step and Climber.
  • Minimum withdrawal is $50. Paid accounts have no published maximum.
  • Close every position before you request. Reviews take 1-2 business days, and approved money lands in the in-app Wallet. From there you withdraw in USDT (TRC20) or by local transfer.
  • The challenge fee comes back with your first payout on 1-Step and 2-Step. Climber refunds it when you reach the funded stage. Instant fees are not refunded.
  • Instant payouts also need the 15% consistency score and the 3% profit buffer. Your largest loss cannot exceed your largest win. Climber payouts need your largest losing day to stay at or below your largest winning day.
  • Per the FAQ, accounts are simulated (demo), while profit-split payouts are real.
