Who runs this prop firm rating, and how it is paid for
Prop Firms Top is an independent rating of 90 prop trading firms and 2,213 challenge accounts, scored on the countries they accept, cost, rules and payouts. It is run by the Prop Firms Top Research Desk, and today it earns money from one affiliate partner, Hash Hedge.
What you will find here
A prop firm sells you a trading test and shares profit if you pass. Prices, loss limits and payout terms differ a lot between firms, and so do the countries they accept. We put those facts side by side so you can compare them in minutes.
- A ranking of every firm we track, plus lists by market (forex, futures, crypto) and by feature, such as static drawdown or daily payouts.
- 20 country pages that show which firms accept traders from that country and which local ways to pay they support.
- 31 full firm reviews with every account, its price and its rules.
- 7 guides on how challenges, drawdown and payouts work, with figures from our records.
- A registry of closed prop firms (11 so far), with dates, sources and what happened to payouts.
Who runs it
The site is written and maintained by the Prop Firms Top Research Desk, the editorial team of Prop Firms Top. The desk collects the data, checks it against firms' official pages, keeps the scoring formula and writes the reviews and guides. Pages carry the desk's byline, and every page shows the date its content last changed.
We do not sell challenges, hold trader money or run a prop firm of our own. We are a comparison site.
How the site makes money
Through affiliate links. If you buy a challenge after clicking one, the firm may pay us a commission, and your price stays the same.
Right now exactly one firm has an affiliate link with us: Hash Hedge, which is also our Editor's Choice. Every other firm's "Visit site" link goes straight to its website and earns us nothing. Hash Hedge is pinned above our rankings with a label. Its calculated score of 4.0/5 is shown unchanged and puts it at #45 of 90.

What we will not do
- Sell a position or a score. Commissions are not an input to the formula, and no firm can pay to move up.
- Show discount prices from other sites' promo codes. We print list prices, and a discount appears only with a code issued to us and checked by us.
- Guess. When a firm does not publish a rule, or we cannot confirm it, the field stays empty.
- Publish trader reviews without proof of a purchase or a payout.
- Give financial advice. A prop firm challenge is a paid test, and most people who buy one never reach a payout.
Where the numbers come from, and how fresh they are
Prices and rules for 66 firms come from aggregated public comparison data, which we correct against firms' official pages. For 24 firms we built the whole record ourselves from their pricing pages, rules and terms. Our corrections file holds 54 dated fixes across 27 firms, the latest from October 5, 2026. Ratings come from public Trustpilot pages, and other currencies are converted at ECB rates.
We refresh the aggregated data every two to four weeks and recalculate every score after each refresh or correction. The latest data run was on October 5, 2026. The methodology page lists each source with its date, and the editorial policy explains how pages are produced and corrected.
How to reach us
Email hello@propfirmstop.com or use the contact page. Write to us if a price, rule or country ban here no longer matches the firm's own site, and include a link to the firm's page. Firms can send new programs or rule changes, but nobody can buy a listing or a score.
