By Editorial teamListing data refreshed List prices, no promo codes

Most firms we follow take Singaporean traders: 98% of them list Singapore as open.

For challenge fees, Credit/Debit Card, Crypto and PayPal are the routes these firms support most. We found no fee method specific to Singapore.

Method: Firms qualify unless they list Singapore as restricted. Our Singapore score reuses the global formula but rates country access by how well each firm's payment and payout options serve Singaporean traders. No firm with an open warning makes the picks. We quote official list prices with no promo codes and add any fee you pay after passing.

Firm popularity: Monthly Google searches for the firm's name across all countries, from Ahrefs keyword data (sub-brands carry their parent company's number). It shows the firm is known and in real use rather than a fly-by-night, but tells you nothing about its rules or payouts.

Paying and withdrawing from Singapore: local methods

None of these firms lists a payment method specific to Singapore, so traders there mostly use Credit/Debit Card, Crypto and PayPal.

Only methods specific to Singapore count here (PayNow). Global methods such as cards, crypto, e-wallets and international wires are left out of this table.

Converted at 1.2773 SGD to the dollar (ECB reference rate of September 29, 2026). Expect your bank to use a slightly different rate.

Trading prop challenges from Singapore, rules first

When the office towers around Raffles Place start to empty, the forex day is only warming up. A trader in Singapore can take it on with 88 of the 90 prop firms we track. Our Singaporean ranking is led by FundingPips at 4.3/5, and a $10K challenge costs a median $99, about 126 SGD. With so few doors closed, the work shifts from finding a firm that will accept you to finding the one whose rules match the way you trade.

The evening shift

Singapore runs eight hours ahead of UTC, so London opens around 15:00 in the northern summer and 16:00 in winter, and the New York stock session begins around 21:30 or 22:30. For most people that means trading after work and into the night, with the heaviest US data landing late in the evening. Two practical consequences follow. First, if you trade the news, confirm that the firm permits it; 79 of the firms in our data do. Second, learn how the firm defines a trading day. Its daily loss limit follows the server clock, and you want to know exactly where your evening sits on that clock before a losing trade shows you.

If a full evening at the screen does not fit your life, automation is an option at 62 firms that accept expert advisors. The platforms you will see most are MT5 (49 firms), Match Trader (27 firms) and cTrader (26 firms); choose one you already know rather than learning a new interface under test conditions.

Price, measured properly

Median one-time prices for forex challenges, pass fees included, come to $99 for $10K, $345 for $50K and $569 for $100K. At around 1.2773 SGD per dollar, that is roughly 126 SGD, 441 SGD and 727 SGD. The lowest ticket we list is FundedHive at $9. Headline fees mislead, though. Divide the price by the account size and compare the cost per $10K, then add anything charged after you pass: 6% of programs levy an activation fee. Futures traders should also note that 26% of futures programs are billed monthly, which turns a slow evaluation into a recurring expense.

Paying the fee is rarely the obstacle here. 83 firms accept cards, 75 accept crypto and 55 accept e-wallets, while no firm here takes a method specific to Singapore for the fee.

Fine print worth reading twice

A sound strategy can still fail a challenge on a technicality. The overall drawdown comes in two forms: static, measured from your starting balance, and trailing, which rises with your equity high and tightens as you win. 61 firms offer the static form. The daily loss limit is the other trap, and only 9% of the programs in our data do without one. Where a firm applies a consistency rule, one outsized winning day can count against you, so traders who bank most of their gains in a few big sessions should look for firms without one. And if you would rather not be evaluated at all, 58 firms offer instant funding, generally at a higher price and with less room for error.

The short list of firms that restrict Singapore, 2 of 90, includes Goat Funded Trader and Goat Funded Futures. Behind FundingPips, our local table ranks FundedNext and The5ers, but read their rule pages side by side before you commit.

Getting paid out

For withdrawals, 42 firms pay by bank transfer, 52 through Rise and 66 in crypto, and 53 run weekly or faster payout cycles. If regular access to profits matters to you, weigh the payout cycle as seriously as the entry price. Keep the nature of the product clear in your mind: a challenge is a simulated evaluation, and payouts are a share of simulated profits under the firm's terms. Their tax treatment depends on Singapore's rules and your own position; that is a question for a professional, since we are not tax advisers.

Regulators and tax in Singapore

Here is what regulators and the tax office in Singapore have published. Most of it targets brokers: a prop firm challenge is a paid evaluation, not a trading account with a broker.

Regulators
Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS)
Retail forex and CFDs
Under Section 82 of the Securities and Futures Act, a capital markets services licence is needed to deal in CFDs and foreign exchange contracts. MAS advises checking its Financial Institutions Directory and Investor Alert List and in 2020 blocked an unregulated overseas online trading platform. Source: mas.gov.sg
Prop firm challenges
We found no rule or warning from MAS written specifically about prop firm challenges.
Tax
IRAS guidance, written for companies, treats capital gains as not taxable and trading gains as taxable income, judged by the badges of trade. No IRAS page we could read addresses prop firm payouts for individuals. Sources: iras.gov.sg, iras.gov.sg (2)
