Why pick it

starting funded without passing an evaluation; cashing out whenever you ask; keeping costs down (it undercuts 70% of futures firms on price per $1K of max loss).

Look elsewhere if

a moving floor bothers you (every account runs end-of-day trailing drawdown); you would rather pay once than subscribe every month; you are based in Nigeria, Pakistan, Kenya or another country on its blocked list.

  • There are four account types. Zero, Standard and Advanced are single-stage evaluations billed monthly until you pass. After that you get a qualified account with no monthly fee. Direct costs a one-time fee and takes you straight to a qualified account.
  • Minimum trading days in the evaluation: 1 on Zero, 2 on Standard, 3 on Advanced. No time limit is stated; the subscription just rebills each month.
  • Every account uses an end-of-day trailing Maximum Loss Limit (MLL). It follows the highest closing balance, not intraday equity, and stops trailing at the starting balance. If the balance touches the MLL, the account fails.
  • The Daily Loss Guard is a soft breach. It locks trading until the next session but does not fail the account. Levels: 2% on Zero eval and qualified, 2% on Standard qualified (none in Standard eval) and 2% on Direct. Advanced has none.
  • Consistency in evaluation: 50% on Standard, 40% on Advanced, none on Zero. On qualified accounts it is 40% for Zero/Standard and 20% for Direct, measured on profit since the last payout request. It only blocks payouts. Advanced qualified has none.
  • Contract limits grow with profit through a scaling plan on Zero 50K/100K and Standard qualified accounts. Advanced and Direct have no scaling plan.
  • Be flat by 4:20 PM ET every day. Overnight and weekend holding are not allowed.
  • News trading is free in evaluations and on Advanced qualified accounts. Zero/Standard/Direct qualified accounts may not trade 2 minutes before or after red-folder news. A first offence voids profits from that window, and a repeat offence is a breach.
  • Banned: fully automated, AI or bot trading and HFT (100+ trades/day). Hedging across or within accounts, such as long NQ/short MNQ, is banned too. So are tick scalping (<10 ticks and <2 minutes), order-book spamming, group trading and VPN use. Semi-automated signals are fine if you execute by hand.
  • You may copy trades only between accounts you own yourself.
  • You can hold up to 5 qualified Zero/Standard/Direct accounts, or 3 if you also hold an Advanced qualified one. The stated ceiling is $750K in simulated capital.
  • Place a trade at least once every 10 trading days, or the account gets archived.
  • Evaluation resets are available any time and do not move the rebill date. Zero/Standard qualified resets ($399-$999) can be used twice per account, as long as you have not requested a payout yet.

Getting paid by Alpha Futures

Alpha Futures releases profit on request on the Instant accounts, paying by ACH (US bank), Wire transfer, SWIFT, Wise and Rise. The trader keeps up to 90%. The remaining programs pay as follows: 1-Step on request after 5 profitable days. Before you can ask for money on the Instant accounts, a 20% best-day cap has to be satisfied.

Full payout terms

  • Every qualified account pays a 90% profit split. Each request can take up to 50% of account profit, and the rest stays as a buffer.
  • On Zero, Standard and Advanced, you can request after every 5 winning days of +$200 or more each. The limit is 4 requests per month.
  • Direct has no winning-day rule. You need to hit a withdrawal profit target instead: 6% of size the first time, then 4% of new profit each time. The 20% consistency rule must also be met.
  • Limits per request: Zero $200 min / $1,000-$2,500 max. Standard $500 min / $3,000-$5,000 max. Advanced $1,000 min / $15,000 max. Direct $500 min / $1,000-$3,000 max.
  • Processing time: the homepage says within 48 business hours, while the How It Works page says within five business days.
  • You are paid in USD by ACH (US), wire, SWIFT, Wise or Rise.
  • A withdrawal does not reset the MLL.
  • Strong qualified traders may be invited to Alpha Futures Live, for example after 5 payouts on one account. It pays an 80% split with uncapped daily withdrawals. Alpha Prime is the other option: a 60% split plus salary and support.
  • Before the qualified account is issued, you complete KYC (Veriff) and sign a contract.

On Trustpilot, Alpha Futures collects 86% five-star and 9% one-star ratings. That one-star share is low by prop firm standards. Because the firm actively asks customers for reviews, its five-star share is likely pushed up. The high-risk investment label on the profile is a standard Trustpilot notice for trading businesses, not a verdict on this firm.
