What Happened to OANDA Prop Trader?
OANDA Prop Trader is closed down as of 31 Mar 2026, after launching in Jan 2024, and active clients were offered a move to FTMO. OANDA Prop Trader was the broker OANDA's own prop trading challenge, and it formally ended on 31 March 2026. It started in January 2024 as "OANDA Labs Trader", sold through OANDA's BVI-regulated Global Markets arm. By mid-2024 it carried the OANDA Prop Trader name. Its final published challenge terms list OANDA Assessments Limited (Malta, C 106331) as operator. FTMO agreed to buy OANDA in February 2025 and closed the deal on 1 December 2025. On 2 March 2026 the group said the programme would fold into FTMO Group. Active clients were offered incentives to switch to FTMO, or refunds where they applied. You can no longer buy the programme, and proptrader.oanda.com now redirects to ftmo.com.
